Tough times sometimes bring some hard fought and rather weakly thought views to share , so while I usually keep whining on my useless little thoughts , this time i rather thought of going out of my own league and give a theory or rather an hypothesis ... the spectator conjecture ...
these words in a way make a very good sense , but do u see the last word , do see it and see it very closely . Yes it does mention that little fictitious entity whom many would refuse to believe and yet many would blindfolded keep on believing , but as i have put my spiritual thoughts on my earlier posts may i stop here and bring the spotlight back to the little hypothesis i m looking to conjure . My whole point of this little showcase of Joseph Addison's statement is the last word , if these thoughts or rather Quotes are anything to go by then how come it is the way around for people on this planet where there is definitely no proof of whether the spectator is watching or not but definitely those nosy neighbors, the guy who sits behind you but had never given a crap about u just can't wait to see the spectacle of your life as soon as u have come across a glitch , a little crossroad, a mistake and blah blah ...
So how come Joseph's word that have gone to the ears of all the bright minded but they refuse to follow it and start staring down their windows in a act of spying on their fellow bird-brained neighbors who just did face a crisis . The reader may be questioning the authors intention in writing this words but just spare a thought and remind yourselves of the moments where u went behind the backs of your fellow mates and spoke to your heart's content about how your mate has gone out on the rough ride through misery , but somewhere maybe u know that u could shorten this spell of misery by just being a silent naive . Some of the readers might know where i m going on now . I have lived in a place where a accident on a bridge is met with people gossiping of the moments of accident instead of helping the poor soul ,the injured having flashes of his last breath taken away. A simple moment of madness is always present in every single souls life but people rather than trying to prevent this madness spread it further by enjoying the gossips and watching the life of the mad scatter and fall apart , hence so u now become the spectator
A moment of sadness and grief must not always be met by the same two sickening sentiments but they must be met somehow but people would rather talk of the grieved souls future rather than coming out in open and helping him . Making the life of a victim a rather fond sport event to which they are the spectator . Sad but true , so the conjecture being laid is how the spectator have moved from the stands in a sporting stand to the living room near you and this time u and your misery is their spectacle . lemme now stop this marathon write and let u ponder on my thoughts and go on disagreeing on me but lemme end it by a these words :
A virtuous Man strugling with Misfortunes, is such a Spectacle as Gods might look upon with Pleasure: And such a Pleasure it is which one meets with in the Representation of a well-written Tragedy.
Need i say the Word "Gods" in days of our lives may very well be taken over by the mere humans surrounding us who would enjoy the show then to be a part of it . :(
-Joseph Addisonlife is nothing but a mere play to a spectacle and the spectator is his almighty
